have tried to provide a complete list of answers to
common questions we receive, however if you have a
question that is not covered here- please feel free to
contact us.

1. Were is O'Day Glass located:
We are located on the Tulalip Indian Reservation               
 just west of Marysville Washington.

2. Why don't I see an address for your shop:
At this time we do not have a "shop" - we work                   
strictly "in the field" . If you don't need our                          
 installation services we can always deliver your               
  purchase to you for a small delivery charge or we            
 can arrange a meeting near our dispatch center in           
 the Marysville/ Tulalip area for no additional charge.
Also, if you are not necessarily  in a hurry we can             
drop off your purchase to you when we are working          
 in the area for no additional charge!

3. Why don't you have a shop?
Lower overhead- shops cost a lot to buy or lease,              
 maintain, etc and those cost are passed on to the            
 customer.

4. What areas does O'Day Glass service?
Our home area is Snohomish County, but we                       
frequently go as far north as southern Whatcom                
County and as far south as central King County


5. What kind of work does O'Day Glass do?
The short answer is -- all types of glass and                        
window work residentially and
commercially except auto glass.

6. Does O'Day Glass sell or install auto glass?
No. Not at this time.

7. Does O'Day Glass install new vinyl windows in older
homes with wood or aluminum windows?
Absolutely ! We can retro-fit your home from your               
old leaky windows to new efficient vinyl windows             
and you can choose from several major window                 
   manufactures all with lifetime guarantees.

8.Does O'Day Glass sell windows/ skylights/ mirrors,
shower doors , etc. - to the homeowners or to
contractors who wish to install them themselves?
 Yes, absolutely. We sell, service, and usually                     
 install all of our products , but if you choose to                  
 install our products yourself thats fine with us.                  
 We can even answer your questions about                         
 installing them, if needed. Be warned however                  
 that most manufactures will void their warranty if             
 the product is installed improperly.

9. I want a new window or skylight added  to my home-
does O'Day Glass cut a new opening in my wall or roof
for these?
No, we specialize in glass and windows - framing               
a new window opening or skylight opening  in your            
existing home requires a General contractor                      
because of all the different trades   involved like                
roofing, electrical, sheet rock, etc. - we can                        
however work with your contractor to provide and            
install new windows or skylights.

10. Does O'Day Glass sell and install commercial store
fronts?
Yes we do! Both new construction and repair /                    
 replacement of existing store fronts.

11. My double pane glass has moisture between the         
    panes - what can be done about this?
The seal between the two panes has failed -- the               
 glass needs to be replaced.

12. Can't you just reseal the panes together?
 Yes and no. It is technically possible but, not                    
  as efficient and economical as replacing the                    
  insulated glass unit with a new sealed  double                 
  pane glass unit with a guarantee against future               
   failure. See also question 13.

13. My double pane window is broken, it's just the
outside piece - do I need to replace the inside piece as
well?
 Yes and no. It is technically possible to remove               
   the glass unit - cut a new piece and seal it to the            
    existing  insulated glass  and reinstall it, but it               
    is not economical because of the labor involved            
    - also there is no guarantee the glass can be                  
    removed from the window without breaking and            
   the final  product would not be sealed as well as            
   a new glass unit which also has the advantage               
   of a warranty against seal failure.

14.My window glass needs to be replaced - do I need to
have a new window frame installed as well?
No, almost every window ever made was                            
 designed so that the glass can be replaced while             
 the frame stays in place. There are very rare                     
 exceptions but, 99 out of 100 times the glass                    
can be replaced without a new frame.

15. Does O'Day Glass sell and install shower doors?
Yes!

16.Does O'Day Glass sell and install mirrors?
Yes!

17. Does O'Day Glass sell and install skylights or sky
walls?
Yes!

18. Is O'Day Glass licensed, bonded, and insured?
Yes!

19. Does O'Day Glass accept credit cards?
No. Sorry not at this time.

20. I found O'Day Glass and Window listed online in a
city or county that you don't serve- why is this?
When we listed our information online for the                     
areas we serve- other web listing pages - in an                   
 effort to fill their pages with as many options as                
 possible- have listed us in other cities and                         
 counties outside our service areas. We are                        
 grateful for the exposure but, we regret the                       
 problems it creates when we inform people that              
their area is out of our areas served.
